Trust Attendance Manager

Hello! My name is Amanda Adcock and I am the Trust Attendance Manager and Deputy DSL for OCMAT.  I am very lucky to work across all of the schools within the Trust.  Although I am based at Minterne, I also travel to the other schools so you may see me on the gates some mornings!  I began working here in 2010 and my job is to ensure that children attend school regularly and punctually and if they don’t, support families to help them identify why.  I work very closely with the FLOs across the Trust to ensure that your child’s school journey with us is a fun, happy and successful one.

When I'm not at work, I love spending time with my family, reading and going for long walks with my dog 😊

Family Liaison Officer

Please allow me to introduce myself, my name is Keeley Thomson and I am the Family Liaison Officer (FLO) for Minterne. My role is to provide support to students and parents with any issues that may arise during school. My aim is to promote the wellbeing and education of the children who attend this school, support families, and act as a liaison between both parties. I encourage both you and your children to talk to me about any issue which maybe causing some concern, and I will endeavour to provide support, advice or guidance where possible. You can find me most mornings on the playground so please say hello. Should you need to reach out to me with a school related issue, or just an informal chat please do not hesitate to contact me. I will be the friendly face, the ear to listen or the shoulder to cry on. Everyone will tell you I always make sure I have plenty of tea and biscuits!!! When I am not working I really like to explore the beautiful Kent countryside with my family, get stuck into a really good book, and go for long drives in my car. I am very family orientated so I love seeing friends and family as often as I can.
