Rugby Tournament

Minterne sent a team of Year 5 and 6 Pupils to Sittingbourne Rugby Club for a tournament in early October. The team played incredibly well in their fixtures against Bredgar, Kemsley and St. Edwards. A fantastic team performance was punctuated by incredible pace from William Jury and fantastic tries from Harrison Davis and Joshua Chambers. A fantastic attitude and effort was displayed by all who represented the school.

 

Cross Country

 

Minterne attended their first sports competition of the year at the District Cross Country championships.  Despite a very challenging course, all representatives took very credible top 10 finishes.  Highlights of the day saw Daisy Conway take gold in the Year 5 event and Sam Hurst claim a silver in the Year 6 competition.  Well done to all.
