Pastoral Care

We believe that a strong home / school relationship is fundamental to good pastoral care. Parents are always welcome to come into school to discuss any problems.

 

Children are cared for by their class teachers, with support from the Head of School, Senco, Teaching Assistants, Midday Meals Supervisors and Office Staff.

 

We have a dedicated Family Support and Welfare Officer who works with families to support any pupil who needs pastoral care.

 

There are a variety of groups available to support pupils such as social groups, mindfulness groups, communication groups and motor control groups. Pupils are invited to these groups if and when their teacher or the Senco feel it to be appropriate.

 

There are many qualified First-Aiders on site who are trained to deal with minor injuries.

 

In the rare event of a more serious accident, parents are contacted immediately.
