Aladdin Trouble!

Interviewing Shakespeare Year 5

Georgia: her favourite character in the play was Abanazer (the villain), she also enjoyed the scene where Abanazer abandoned Aladdin in The Cave Of Wonders. Another thing was, her favourite song from the play was I Still Believe (the really emotional song that made teachers and parents cry because it was so beautiful).

Jimmy: his favourite character in the play was the comedic brothers, the one and only Wishy and Washy! (played by Bobby and Jude).  He enjoyed the scene where Princess Jasmine refused to marry any of the suitable suitors that her father, the King, arranged for her. His favourite song was The Chase (the really dramatic song). Out of the many props his favourite prop was the washing machine (Not the girl who had a washing machine as a costume though).

Preston: his favourite character in the amazing panto was the star of the play Aladdin, and the host of Love Struck Radio the DJ Mr Wright. His favourite scene was the one where Abanazar (the villain) found out where he could find Aladdin and use him to get the Lamp of Unlimited Power so Abanazar could become Master Of The Universe. He also enjoyed the song that we sung in the grand finale, A Panto Like No Other. Out of the many props a common one most people chose is the treasure chest.

OUR YEAR 5 PLAY - Interviewing Year 4

GLENNIE said that our play was brilliant. They said they wanted to see it again.  People said the favourite part was “all of it”.  A boy named Jasper said his favourite part was Tomas the camel, and all of the jokes.

MIRREN said that our play was amazing - it was so good they wanted to see it again. Their favourite part was “everything”.  A girl named Jessica said her favourite bit was the three wishes.

What was your favourite bit?

Thea: the chase dance.

Amelia: Jasmin singing with her maids.

Max: the chase dance.

Did you like the year 5 school play?

Thea: Loved it.

Amelia: Loved it.

Max: It was OK.
